1.
Two 06:58
The stars twinkle on, The wind caresses my face; The same way I caress yours longingly, while staring into your mile-away eyes. You lie down next to me. I beg, you oblige. We turn away, Our sweaty skin sticking to the other’s before a reluctant separation, and do it again tomorrow. Through depraved, deprived routine, I grow increasingly fixated; on some perfect union that drifts further and further away with each rising sun.

One 05:33
The stars twinkle on, The wind caresses my face Suddenly, I wake up; With rushing air filling every orifice of my soft, complacent body. I'm taking a ferry away from here. From us. I stand at the aft, Watching the chaos of the water propelling it forward, Looking for any similarities among the tumultuous folds of ocean, Only to discover that none exist. The motor slows, And the folds in the sheet smooth themselves out, Leaving a blank slate for me to start anew. The wind begins to blast my face, Filling my ears with wild, unadulterated, violent noise, And yet, Somehow I find comfort and sweet release In the overwhelming cacophony
3.
None 02:39
The stars twinkle on, The wind caresses your face. We lounge under the endless expanse, Exchanging pleasantries. Pleasantries eventually turn to dread. We cling to hope, Losing our grip and tumbling over the precipice, Head over heels, Tears flowing down our wistful cheeks, Watched silently By a colossal, blood, red Moon. The stars twinkle on, and the wind

about

Recorded from 2017 - 2018,
Pathetic Fallacy is my first album.

Driven by existential angst, confusion, and general self-loathing, I wrote the spoken word element of this album in one shot while on a ferry from Victoria, BC to Vancouver, BC, Canada.

Experiences I shared with some of my closest friends left me feeling emotions to an extent that was unfamiliar, yet fascinating to me. My worst moments were black, bottomless pits, but my best experiences were unfathomably exhilarating. This EP is my way of trying to express this range of feeling the best I can. Though it may make you feel uncomfortable or just downright depressed, I can only hope that it makes you feel something close to what I have been experiencing this past year.

Working with amazing musicians and engineers on this project has been an unreal experience, and they have stayed true to the improvised nature of the music and creative vision. All the musical elements of this album were completely improvised, allowing musicians to react to each other and endow their reactive ideas to the creative whole. As such, recording engineer Nick Bonin was forced to react quickly to sudden dynamic changes that I couldn't promise would or would not happen. Thank you all for your invaluable contributions to this project!

Finally, the album is free to download, as my goal with this EP is for people to hear my story, and to hear how I've chosen to express it with the musical and technical skill set that I currently possess. However, if you liked the EP, please consider a small optional donation to help fund my future projects! (The next album is already taking form!)
